Oxford United are looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Championship, with a trip to Bristol City next up on Saturday.

United head into the game with nine points from the opening five games, with a highly impressive 1-0 win over Stoke City last weekend.

It's a chance for the team to try and pick up their first away points of the season following two narrow defeats on the road, and Des Buckingham is looking forward to the test following a positive week in Oxford and with more than 3,500 United fans travelling.

He said: "We are pleased with three wins from the first five games but we know that it is just a start.

"The most important thing is that we continue to do what we've done so far this year.

"Every game in this league will present its own challenges and you have to be on it throughout.

"Now, we can put ourselves in the best position possible come Saturday after a really good home win and we will be ready for this challenge.

"I think everyone has seen the support, all the way back from the time in the play-offs with the numbers we took to Peterborough and then of course to Wembley.

"To take more than 3,500 to Bristol and for our fans to get behind us and back us is fantastic, and we'll try and do everything to make it an enjoyable day."
