Oxford United are reminding supporters that bookings are open for the End of Season Awards 2022, sponsored by Grundon Waste Management, on Sunday 24th April, 6pm till late.
Any U’s fan who has purchased a place for the event prior to Friday 8th April will be entered into a prize draw to win their place for FREE, with the club refunding two lucky supporters the full value of the ticket.
The evening will be hosted by Nathan Cooper, beginning with a three-course meal provided by an outside caterer, and awards in between courses, followed by a season review and fans hearing from Karl Robinson and the winners of the awards.
Throughout the course of the night, there will also be tributes in memory of Oxford United Legends Joey Beauchamp, and Micky Lewis, a live auction with a range of memorabilia to bid on, and an opportunity for everyone in attendance on the night to vote on the Goal of the Season – your vote will count, so don’t miss out.
The following categories for the awards are:
-The Andrew Knapton Supporters’ Player of the Year
-The Jack Casley Young Player of the Year
-Goal of the Season – voting held on the night
-The Golden Boot
-Players’ Player of the Year
-Club Person of the Year
The Andrew Knapton award is named after Andrew, the voice of the London Road at the Manor, who sadly passed away in the summer of 2001.
The Jack Casley award is named after Jack, who was one of the first ever pros at the club. The trophy was donated by Jack’s family in his honour.
The cost is £90 per person, which includes entry to the exclusive event, a three-course meal, and the opportunity to mingle with the players and staff of the 2021/22 team throughout the evening.
The event is historically one of the highlights of the year and the whole squad will be in attendance to share the evening with fans, so click HERE to secure you and your guests places today – be quick as spaces are limited.
