U's midfielder wins national award
Oxford United midfielder Ryan Ledson is the EFL Young Player of the Month for February.The former Everton youngster was in fantastic form for the U's as they went on a great run in the league as well as reaching Wembley in the final of the Checkatrade Trophy. He was presented with his trophy by Head Coach Michael Appleton before linking up with the England Under 20 squad this week.
"I'm really honoured to receive the award" he told us. "It was a good month for us and it's nice to know that what we are doing here is being noticed by others."
