Striker Taylor heads for pastures new
Striker Ryan Taylor has left Oxford United by mutual consent.
Ryan, 28, made 37 starts and scored eight times for the U’s after joining from Portsmouth in the summer of 2015. However he has found a regular starting place hard to hold down this season and competed the paperwork this morning to allow him leave the U’s and sign for a League 2 side once the formalities are completed.
Head Coach Michael Appleton said
“Ryan is a an excellent pro and has had good spells for us but with Toni Martinez added to the squad Ryan will move on, with our thanks for his efforts and our best wishes for the future.”
