United midfielder Shandon Baptiste has agreed a new contract with Oxford United that will keep him at the club at least until the end of next season, ahead of joining Hampton & Richmond Borough on loan.
Shandon, who made his Oxford United debut at Stevenage in August, had initially signed a six-month contract but that has now been extended to the summer of 2019, with a club option to extend for a further year.
Having completed the paperwork this morning, he now leaves for a one-month youth loan with Hampton & Richmond Borough, where Malachi Napa spent some time earlier this season.
