United help raise funds with poppy shirt auction
Oxford United are helping to raise funds for the Royal British Legion by auctioning the special ‘Poppy’ shirts that the players wore in last weekend’s FA Cup win at Grimsby.A proud red poppy was shown on the front of the shirts for that game and first on offer is the shirt of teenage striker James Roberts who scored two goals on his debut.

The large adult away shirt has 'ROBERTS 31' on the back as well as the official SkyBet Football League badges and the exclusive "Football Remembers 1914-2014" Poppy Emblem on the front.
The lucky winning bidder will have the opportunity to get this shirt personalised and signed by James.
All profits from this auction item will be donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2014.
