Wycombe Preview

We look forward to tomorrow's big game

We look forward to tomorrow’s game at Wycombe Wanderers.

The U’s
United are looking to return to winning ways tomorrow after their 2-0 defeat at Rochdale on Tuesday. Chris Wilder was encouraged by the performance and will welcome Jake Wright back into the starting line-up as captain due to Michael Raynes picking up his fifth yellow card of the season during midweek.

Andy Whing and Peter Leven both came through a full 90 minutes and are expected to be involved while Lee Cox is hoping to recover from a virus.

Damian Batt, Deane Smalley, former Wycombe player Michael Duberry and Liam Davis are still unavailable.

The Opposition
Wycombe are currently 22nd in League 2 but were on a three match unbeaten run until their 4-1 defeat to Port Vale last weekend. However, caretaker manager Gareth Ainsworth, who replaced Gary Waddock, was pleased with a clean sheet on Tuesday night as they drew 0-0 with Barnet at Adams Park.

Depending on his hamstring injury, Ainsworth may look to call upon former Oxford loanee Dean Morgan but Jo Kuffour is expected to make a return while Bruno Andrade could also make the squad.

Wycombe head into tomorrow's match with only one home win so far this season.
