Wright Ready for Wanderers

Captain set to return as United head for Wycombe

Captain Jake Wright will return to the United line-up this Saturday as they make the short trip to Adams Park to take on Wycombe Wanderers.

Wright missed last Saturday's  5-0 win over Accrington, a result that meant that Manager Chris Wilder stuck with the same back four at Rochdale on Tuesday. However Michael Raynes picked up his fifth yellow card of the season during the game at Spotland so Wright returns to the side in place of the former Rotherham defender.

Chris Wilder told Yellow Player:

"Jake will start. He is the captain and has been outstanding for us all season so he will come back in. I have to say his attitude was first class on Tuesday night as well. He knew the reason I stuck with the same players and he accepted it and was his usual positive self. He will play and I am sure will do well."
