Team News

Midfielder Lee Cox is clear to play for the U's in the FA Cup but defender Johnny Mullins and Midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey are ineligible due to the terms of their loan.

Michael Raynes comes back into the squad after a one game suspension and challenges Harry Worley for the centre-half spot vacated by Mullins.

With seven places on the bench in the FA Cup youngster James Roberts could get his first call up after scoring an incredible 14 goals in his last six games.

The Opposition

Manager Mark Robson has seen his side win their last two games, and keep three clean sheets in a row. However Robson has hinted that he may make changes on Saturday as he considers all of his options

“We have a squad to choose from and I’m sure there are players who are itching to have an opportunity to play in a side that are getting some results at the moment" he said. “So there may be a chance for one or two players to show their worth and try and force their way into the team.

“It will be great for us to have a run in the cup for several reasons and we will put a team that we believe that can win. If one or two other players do get the opportunity then it is important for them to show why they should be in the team. There are of course one or two we would like to give games but there are also one or two that we will want to look after if we can.”

Former Holland midfielder Edgar Davids is expected to continue, while fellow Holland international Collins John could return to the squad after injury..
