Oxford United Women are pleased to announce Vlad Cintic will be part of the first-team coaching staff ahead of the 2019/20 season.
Vlad was Head Coach of the U16s Women's side that reached the Girls' FA Youth Cup semi-final last season and, having passed his UEFA A license this summer, steps up as Assistant Manager alongside First Team Manager Liam Gilbert.
Vlad will continue to work with the U16s in the RTC to bridge the gap between first team and academy and told us:
"I'm grateful for the opportunity to join the Ladies team staff this season. The project put together for the future is ambitious and I'm very keen for the season to get going. Liam has done an outstanding job in steadying the ship last year and, with such a talented squad available for next season, I'm very hopeful we can help bring Oxford United Women back to where we belong."
The Women are in action on Sunday against Abingdon United away. The charity match is also a chance to raise money for United Academy player Fenton Tutty who was diagnosed with Leukaemia over the summer.
The Women's side begin their campaign on Sunday 18th August at home to Keynsham Town. All home matches this season will be played at Oxford City's Court Place Farm.
