The new look restaurant at Oxford United was a big success at the weekend on its seasonal debut.
Guests enjoyed a two course pre-match meal and half time tea and coffee with a private bar, with their day hosted by Peter Rhoades-Brown who was joined by Guest of Honour Simon Clist, who dined in the restaurant, and then current player Samir Carruthers for an interview before the win over Burton.
After the game Cameron Norman received his Man of the Match Award and chatted to our guests and Commercial and Marketing Director Matt Everett told us
“We were delighted with the launch of the Manor Bar and Restaurant on Saturday. Feedback on the day was fantastic and it was a pleasure to host people pre-match, with former and current player interviews.
“With the Plymouth game sold out already, there are only the next three matches remaining of this initial trial and we really hope fans get behind this initiative so that we can continue to offer the package for the remainder of the season”
There are three games left of the trial:
- Coventry City (which will be a Sunday brunch package)
- Walsall
- Luton Town
If successful, the restaurant will be available for rest of the season.
All three games are available online at oufctickets.co.uk or you can call the commercial team on 01865 337503/337513 to discuss how we can tailor matchday to suit your needs; from restaurant to executive boxes.
