Oxford United have completed their second signing of the week with defender Dwight Tiendalli joining the squad in Portugal.
The 31-year-old is a Dutch international who started his career with Utrecht and Feyenord before winning the Dutch league with Twente. He then moved to Swansea City, where he played in their winning League Cup side in 2013 before a loan spell at Middlesbrough.
He joins United on a one year deal, signing 24 hours after James Henry joined the club.
Manager Pep Clotet told us:
“I'm delighted to be welcoming Dwight to our project, a player who boasts experience at the highest level of the English game and brings quality and versatility.
'In addition to his on-field ability he's a model professional and will be a great presence in the dressing room'
